Residents in the Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council will have free access to the Clare Transfer Stations from 1 July 2015 after Council resolved so at their meeting on Monday 15th June 2015.
The intent of this great initiative is to provide all CGVC residents with the opportunity to improve the general amenity of our beautiful region and keep our properties, roads and streets free of excess clutter. The free access is restricted to household amounts (utility/small box trailer/ute or boot load) and will be administered by the introduction of a card identification system for ratepayers/residents to access either facility.
Larger quantities or commercial loads will still attract the usual fees.
TYRESTyres are not accepted at the Clare Waste Transfer station.
The tyre retailers in Clare will accept tyres for a fee.
The retailers are Clare Tyres, Bridgestone Tyres and Goodyear Tyres.
